It doesn't take much to help our guys and gals overseas!

I sent a "Cup of Joe" overseas through Green Beans Coffee (http://www.greenbeanscoffee.com/coj/index.php) It's not that hard to do, and you can send however much you want.  Here is just one of the three thank you notes I received :)

I know, I know.

I haven't been "around."

I haven't really "posted."

Blah, blah, blah.

We've been a tad bit busy in the past couple of months:

1. Even though our wedding isn't until August 2011, we still have plenty of planning to do. We're getting married in North Georgia at a Winery so we had to jump right on all of the planning and such that needed to be completed so we weren't stuck saying, "okay. We have the venue, but we don't have the caterer. Now what?"

2. At the end of May, we moved into our new house. It's west of Atlanta by about 20 miles or so. It's a 3BD/2 (soon to be 3) BA house. I guess you'd call it a "split-ranch." Our garage, laundry room, and finished basement are downstairs, and our main living area is upstairs. The best part is the 8 ft. privacy-fenced backyard. Talk about doggie Heaven! It's a fairly quiet neighborhood. You don't really see a lot of people out and about, and it's convenient to my work, the Silver Comet Trail, and some of my friends on this side of town.

3. Andrew graduates in September and sits for his boards to be a certified EMT-I, and almost immediately after graduation, he goes into the Police Academy. Yes, I know it sounds odd, but Andrew's overall goal is to be a K-9 Officer so it actually makes sense.

4. We helped Andrew's sister move...again. "Fun" times.

Same ole, same ole except for the wedding planning. We have a few tricks up our sleeves :)
